The engagement is announced between Edward William, elder son of Lt Col and Mrs Peter Hayward-Broomfield, of Exbury, Hampshire, and Arabella, daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard Shelbourne, of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, Umbria, Italy.
