The engagement is announced between Captain George Ashby, The Life Guards, younger son of Mr and Mrs Richard Ashby, of Peasmarsh, East Sussex, and Alexandra, elder daughter of the late Mr Andrew Pugh, QC, and Mrs Pugh, of Waldron, East Sussex.
