The engagement is announced between Marcus, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Charles Dawes, of Orlestone, Kent, and Sophia, eldest daughter of the Hon Adam Macmillan, of Donhead St Andrew, Wiltshire, and Mrs Sarah Macmillan, of London.
