The engagement is announced between Maximilian, only son of Mr Henry James Folkes, of Pimlico, London, and Xenia Folkes, of Ludlow, Shropshire, and Sophia, only daughter of Mr A.D.F. McBarnet, of Bishop's Castle, Shropshire, and Mrs Dawn McBarnet, of Leominster, Herefordshire.
