The engagement is announced between Gareth, elder son of Admiral Sir Trevor and Lady Soar, of Boylestone, Derbyshire, and Holly, daughter of Mr Michael Hulme, of Herne Hill, London, and Mrs Connie Hulme, of Beckenham, Kent.
